Fringe junior featherweight Luis Rosa will fight veteran German Meraz this coming Wednesday, promoter Lou DiBella confirmed to BoxingScene.com.

The eight round bout will top a 'Broadway Boxing' card at BB King Blues & Grill in New York City, N.Y.

Rosa (21-0, 10 KOs) has not fought since August 14 in Newark, N.J., when he won a six round unanimous decision over veteran Giovanni Caro.

I hope luis can stay focused against a guy with a poor record. I've never seen his opponent but I would imagine he is a durable fighter meaning possibly dangerous. Luis should be in there with a live dog closer to his skill level if he wants to graduate from fringe contender to top contender.
