Canelo needs to be held to the same standard as GGG for his next fight.

GGG is finally being pressured to fight someone credible his next fight. It's taken a while but even his fans don't want to see Korodov or whatever his name is.

Just because he's supposedly fighting GGG in September he shouldn't be given a pass for fighting Rosado or Monroe Jr or anyone on that level. He got a pass last year for fighting Kirkland because of the Cotto fight in Nov. If he's only fighting twice a year he needs to fight credible opponents. Especially if it's going to be on PPV.

I'm going to edit because I'm not being sarcastic. GGG is finally getting pressured to fight credible opponents. I think Willie Monroe Jr was the last straw for most fans. He can't keep fighting "stumblebums".

What the hell are you talking about when you say Canelo got a pass for fighting Kirkland ???? The only boxers who have a responsibility to fight top 10 world rated contenders are world champions. Non champions can fight who they please and it harms no one and deprives no one of their right to fight for a title. Canelo was not a champion at the time he fought Kirkland and had no obligation to fight any particular fighter. Cotto had nothing to do with that fact. Besides Kirkland was a dangerous fighter and probably a better fighter than many of your favorite champions have defended their title against. What makes you the decider of who Canelo and GGG must fight next? You are trashing two damn good boxers. Tell me what champions you like so I can trash their opposition.
