I'm just kicking back and reading all of the posts. Lots of people squirming. Others cant hide their childish hatred of PBC/Haymon/Mayweather etc. Whatever. Will all be moot when they do get that network deal that is CLEARLY going to happen.
What amazes me is the way these dudes attempt to portray themselves as experts on the television/entertainment business. When really they're keyboard warriors who get their "facts" from writers who are paid to be bias.

The debut of Premier Boxing Champions on Fox in prime time on Saturday night, a tripleheader headlined by Danny Garcia’s unanimous decision win against Robert Guerrero to claim a vacant welterweight belt, drew an average of 2.24 million viewers, according to the Nielsen ratings. The telecast peaked at 3.39 million during the exciting main event. The total puts it fourth in terms of prime time network PBC cards, which had three shows on NBC draw more viewers in 2015. For the night, Fox’s PBC card was fourth (and last) among network sports offerings, finishing behind the U.S. Figure Skating Championships on NBC and the Cleveland Cavaliers-Chicago Bulls game on ABC (both 3.69 million) and NBA Countdown on ABC (2.49 million).
His numbers are wrong. It averaged 2.518M which was more than NBA Countdown. Also, ratings are ranked by the Adults 18-49 rating, not average viewers. The fight did better than NBA Countdown and figure skating in Adults 18-49. The only sport's program that beat it was the NBA game.

          Fat Dan is an idiot.

Likely not. If we see an ad, someone likely paid for it.

How people look at the stat/reports and assume PBC is failing is a clear sign of bias. Clear. Or ******ity. They should pick one, I guess?

Just kick back and enjoy the show. I've seen the same losers on here follow the same writers and be consistently wrong. They'll be wrong about this too -- might as well start bookmarking threads so we can laugh later.

Good idea. I have to learn the ropes on this site. Came here because I got tired of the fandom I was finding on youtube channels and ************. But from the look of things, I may not find much better content from fans here either lol

And the Thurman porter fight is definitely a PBC fight (every promo has PBC on it from what I've seen. And its on the PBC website. None of the Showtime fights appeared on any PBC platform promo.
You missed the Figeroia fight in Dec the card that was originally going to feature Thurman vs Porter but it too expensive for PBC so they moved it. That fight was the last of the 5 fights NBC aired prime time and by far the worst in a downward trend from their debut. Bottoming out with 1.8m viewers.

No Thurman vs Porter is not a PBC fight. Showtime is own the fight.

                      http://espn.go.com/boxing/story/_/id...-face-march-12

"Although Thurman and Porter have had their recent fights on Premier Boxing Champions cards, which their adviser, Al Haymon, has bought time for on a variety of networks, including CBS, this fight will not carry PBC branding. Instead, it will be branded as "Showtime Championship Boxing on CBS." CBS is the parent company of Showtime, which will produce the telecast."

Showtime Sports vice president and general manager Stephen Espinoza said. "Fights of this caliber don't come along very often, and when they do, they deserve to be on the biggest stage possible. That's why all of us at Showtime and CBS are so excited to be able to deliver this pivotal matchup to a prime-time audience on America's highest-rated network."
