We'll have a better idea when he faces either Porter or Thurman. Porter is stylistically a good match-up for him but he would bring a physical challenge Danny is yet to see. Thurman I think is a tougher fight. I think Kell Brook would beat him and possibly make him look poor in the process as he'd force Danny to lead.

Danny is a physically strong welterweight on last night's evidence, depending on how shot you think Guerrero. The same Guerrero that completely overwhelmed Berto in the physical exchanges was getting turned and tossed around the ring by Danny last night. If it ends up being Danny-Porter it will be interesting to see if Porter can bully him.

I think his nickname should be "Meh."

I don't take anything away from him, though. He has beaten everybody put in front of him and his list is pretty to look at- Herrera, Morales, Khan, Matthysse and now Guerrero. So, it's hard to say he isn't a major player.

However, he does need to turn the heat up. Sadly, winning alone, really isn't enough to get fans excited.

As far as the division, I think he will do fine. Porter and Thurman are excellent fights for him and razor thin. Those are edge of your seat kind of fights, which is what he really needs at this point.

Assuming Pac retires I my list would be.
          Spence Jr,
          Thurman,
          Brook,
          Shawn Porter,
          Then Danny Garcia.

I think he'll avoid these guys at all cost.

If they truly want to prove Danny's a real contender at welter Porter would be the smartest move but I don't think Danny beats him. Although Danny did prove me and others wrong several times. lol! The kid just keeps on winning.

Agreed. That fight took a lot from both fighters.

At 147, I really don't know. He hasn't brought the power over, he has improved in his technique and does seem to be more a patient fighter but he has struggled against less than "Elite/Champion" type fighters. Guerrero has never shown big power at Welterweight but was bullying and hurting Garcia. I personally I'm not sure what to think but against Thurman, Bradley, or Brook; Garcia will lose. Against Khan or Porter; he may win another close decision.

Algieri would be a tough fight I feel for Garcia, Broner is a real tough fight for Garcia (a fight Haymon should be pushing for) and Spence is a toss up as of now based on the lack of upper compition for Spence.

Gotta give the man credit eventually because I have a feeling just like at 140, he is going to continue to find ways to win even if it is by Controversial Decisions. Beating Danny is going to be as hard as beating Canelo. You will have to knock them out to beat them and given the Chin both have shown, that doesn't seem likely to happen to either anytime soon.

Danny shows good versatility to his fighting game, his problem is that he is inconsistent. He seems to fight up to the competition and the moment but against guys he should walk through he seems to don't get up for those fights and fights down to the Competition and he end up looking very average vs Opponents he should beat

I was very impressed with the backfoot fighting, the Philly Shell and the Timing with his Counters.
                    Danny Boy got that.....
