Comments Thread For: George Groves Eyes Arthur Abraham's WBO World Title

GEORGE GROVES insists he is not finished at the top level and aims to be world champion later this year.

The Londoner faces Italy's Andrea Di Luisa on Saturday in his first fight since losing a split points decision to US-based Swede Badou Jack for the WBC super-middleweight title in September.

Going for the weakest link when he failed everywhere else I see. Hope Abraham accepts and beats him even though I think Groves would decision Abraham quite comfortably 9-3 or 8-4 ish.

George don't deserve a fourth World title shot, that being said I think Abraham is too strong and stops him in 6.

If Abraham realy beats Groves and Ramirez this year it would be the best year of his career. I dont see him beating both these guys though and i dont think Abraham vs. Groves gets made.
Abraham is the bigger draw for Sauerland they are not gonna feed him to Groves and they only fight Ramirez because they have to.

I'd sooner see a rematch with Jack. Groves fought well in the 1st fight & deserves it!

Groves just needs to get back to his old self. He has lost 3 world title fights but all have been very competitive and he didnt get to face any mediocre opponents to win a belt
