Is combination punching going out of fashion?

It seems to be used less and less may weather in particular doesn't advocate it is he right?

Tyson was a very effective combination puncher.

Is it a different game now?

    Trolling?

JMM is one of the greatest conbination punchers in history and hasn't even retired.

Fury, Roman, GGG, Kovalev, Cotto, Bradley, Ortiz, all good combination punchers just off the top.

I don't see that, inside fighting is going out of fashion if anything.

Well the BEST boxer currently (Mayweather) doesn't use combos much, why is that and since he is one of the GOAT, does he know something about combos that makes them a poor strategy at a high level?

Maybe countering with single shots is safer?

i think you mean lack of punching volume, yes its dead, as far as a combo puncher marquez doesnt use a jab he throws nothing but counter combos, he is the epitome of a combo puncher, three punch marquez, straight, uppercut, hook combo.

Estrada is a smaller version of jmm

^yep. but there's always prospects/less-famed fighters who do.
imo the big names are ruining boxing.

mayweather does throw combinations lol. his power just got a lot weaker.
i honestly dont see how anyone finds mayweather boring. he actually throws quite a bit.
