I think its a lil early to honestly discuss Mayweather's legacy unless you're a Floyd fan boy or Floyd hater, but those are the idiots most likely to talk about this sorta stuff.

I don't think it will be as money related as others might think. Ray Robinson made massive money in his day. Ali made a lil more massive money in his day. SRL surpassed him. ODLH surpassed him. And Manny was up there in his own right. And Floyd surpassed them all. And some other cat 10-20yrs from now will surpass Floyd in the money department. The money keeps moving up & someone always replaces the previous big money guy in boxing history & I don't expect that to change.

I suspect his legacy will be about his resume, that perfect record, his above & beyond gym work &/or his immaculate defense, but only time will tell.

Floyd and Haymon created the cherry pick, diva, bidness man version of a modern boxer.

They spawned the Khan's, Broner's, Canelo's and Garcia's we see now.

Boxing is safer (boring), fighters (A side) are richer, fans are poorer and fighters (like Khan) prefer to b1tch of Twitter than actually fight.

Apart from that, Floyd was a legend.

Floyd's best win is over PAC so he will have a very good legacy. Jmm has a ko victory over PAC so jmm best win is better than Floyd's.
Think about that for a while
