That's the first time I've heard someone call Wilder a midget.

honest comment: he beat stiverne with a jab...
but ppl still said he had no fundamental game...so i think wilder is trying to show and prove that he has more..but he has to remember his key THE JAB..composure is key and when u have that u dont worry about going and gettin it..it will come to you...i saw him not using his jab bc he was trying to sit back and time right hands like floyd..and HE DID IT..BUT HE TOOK MORE PUNISHMENT DOING IT..

the late start that he got to boxing shows, bc he is not a natural he's a thinker..nothing wrong with that but you have to up his level of thinking so it looks more natural.
his first thought should always be JAB

Hey I just want to defend the title like Tyson, Lewis Ali, Foreman did the bum train needs to stop. If he beat Povekin than I'll call him the real deal but not defending like he did against these two unknowns

It's painfully obvious that he is still learning. I would have preferred that they refined his skills BEFORE having him fight for a world title but it's too late for that now.

At this point Breland just has to keep teaching him and hope that Deontay is a quick study because the test with Povetkin is already here.

Either Breland is just not that great at coaching, or Wilder is just too hard headed. Because he is NOT progressing, and looks flat out ridiculous for the first 2-3 rounds. This is a pattern, not some anomaly. Yes, Wilder is in exciting fights, and will probably always have a good sized fan base. But it won't be from having talent. It's just from having power. My theory is the guy has an issue with panicking. Wlad has panic attacks, well known, and maybe Wilder does, we don't know... yet. We do know he has a swollen ego problem, and is definitely an attention ho.

And while I wish him well, I have almost zero faith he'll be successful vs Povetkin. Because that's a guy who will go right after the unprepared Wilder and chop him down early/mid rounds. And I won't have any issues admitting Wilder is better than I thought he was, if he gets past Povetkin. Although an obvious duck would be him fighting Martin or lesser competition next.

If Wilder beats Povetkin I will give him full credit. It'd be one of the biggest HW wins in recent memory next Fury's win over Wlad.

I just don't think Wilder will beat him, he's very one dimensional.
                  No you won't, liar!

If Wilder outpoints him you'll say that it was a robbery and the scores were way too wide.

If Wilder knocks him out you'll say he was losing before that knockout and got a lucky punch.

You haters can't hide or lie anymore, we know mo.

He does make mistakes, but he still manages to win because of his power. He keeps overcoming the odds no matter how many people want him to lose.

What is ironic is Wilder looked better verse Stevirne. He worked well on the back foot and jab was well placed. What I think two things are forgetting or not understanding is 1). As an Orthodox fighter fighting a Southpaw it can pose problems; including the fact you have very little experience against southpaws or Amatuer experience what so ever and 2.) People are downplaying Szpilka game plan; the man had good head movement, footwork getting in/out , good accuracy/speed to his punchs and he showed a lot of heart/determination. Put those together, Wilder was ill prepared and his opponent was a dangerous one.
