mayweather didn't do anything amazing. He kept his lead foot on the outside moving to his left. He parried the range finding jab Manny throws, and countered before he was set to throw his left. Manny never had a great jab.

He neutralized Manny because he varies his lateral movement pattern. A lot of fighters just move to the right or the left, don't vary it much. Even his his pretty boy days he had that off rhythm and moved side to side well.
