    Klitschko & Fury agreed.

Then, they hid a rematch clause from the IBF.

Fury won and as he previously voluntarily agreed, would be making a voluntary defense against Klitschko.

IBF had no choice but to strip him and would have stripped Klitschko to begin with had the rematch clause not been hidden.

Yeah..... how dare Klitschko (the long-standing champ and best heavyweight on the planet for about a DECADE) and Fury (Klitschko's conqueror) fight a rematch instead of bowing to the wisdom of the mighty IBF by dropping everything to fight their "champion" Glazkov.

Congratulations to the mighty IBF, and also to the baddest man on the planet, Charles Martin.

To be honest, as a boxing fan, I don't care.

There are way too many champions as it is. What did breaking up one of the few unified titles left in boxing accomplish? We now have another paper champion in the heavyweight division.

In rule and practice, maybe the IBF wasn't in the wrong. I still don't care.

The end result is that a guy named Charles Martin holds a piece of the title. Had they not stripped Fury and then the winner faced Glazkov, what would have been the harm in that?

The alphabet organizations only hurt boxing at every turn. So, right or not according to rule of law, I just find irrelevant at this point.

        LOL

Damn the IBF and their lousy reasoning. Overall, this only hurt the sport.

Essentially what you're saying is that you don't care what the facts are and you just want to invent an alternate reality.

Yes, there are too many champions. Blame the promoters. Blame the fighters. Blame the TV networks.

But the reason the IBF belt is no longer unified with the WBA & WBO belts is because Fury agreed to a voluntary defense even though the mandatory was long overdue.

If you don't think mandatories should exist, that's lovely, but Fury got his shot because he was a mandatory.

And Klitschko got his shot at the IBF belt back in 2006 because he was the mandatory.

So both of them had used the mandatory position to win their world titles, yet they blatantly disregarded their obligations to the IBF when it didn't suit them.

But since you're honest enough to admit you don't care about the facts, I'm not sure any of this will matter to you.

                    You are tripping dude.

The " alternate reality "..... is the IBF thinking that Glazkov was the best heavyweight on the planet.

That was an absurd decision, completely mindless.

The IBF proved that they are a second-rate organisation when they stripped the lineal champ Fury..... and now they have a second-rate champ to prove it.

A second-rate champ with 12 months to fulfill his obligations.

                    Insane.

No disrespect to Charles Martin, who did his job well.

Martin will lose his first defense, ripe for the picking for all the other champs.
