Well, the WBA has been the worst for a while with the extra belts, but since they are trying to get rid of some, they may come up a bit in 2016. For 2015, though, it's between them and the IBF for stripping Fury and giving us another paper champion.

It's a close call, but the bodies need to make an effort to unify, not the other way around.

Whilst I agree, the IBF decision to strip a champion who has won their belt in the ring because he is going to defend it against the champion that has reigned with their belt for 10 years since taking it off of Chris Bryd, is beyond ******.

Coupled with having Charles ranked in their #3 spot (with no one at #2, so effectively as the 2nd best heavyweight in the world) is just crazy.

However, in the December rankings, the WBA managed the following:

1 - Had Briggs, Oquendo, Ustinov & De Mori all ranked in their top 10 (none of those feature in the top ten of any of the other three bodies, the Ring, Box Rec or the Transnational Boxing Rankings top 10's).

        2 - Didin't have Glazkov in their top 15 (despite him ranking 1, 3, 5, 5, 7 & 8 with the other bodies mentioned above).

3 - Don't rank Huck as a top 10 cruiserweight, but have #1, #2 & #3 ranked contenders (Shumenov, Dorticos & Larghetti) that fail to acheive a top 10 ranking with any other body.

4 - Have Valera as their #1 LHW, again a fighter not in the top 10 for any other body.

5 - Have Feigenbutz as their #1 SMW, again a fighter not in the top 10 for any other body.

6 - Have Blanco as their #1 MW, again a fighter not in the top 10 for any other body.

7 - Have Culcay as their #1 JMW, again a fighter not in the top 10 for any other body.

8 - Have Avanesyan as their #1 WW, again a fighter not in the top 10 for any other body.

9 - At Super Featherweight they set a record, EIGHT OF THEIR TOP 10 fail to record a spot in the rankings for any of the other six bodies / rankings.

10 - At Featherweight SEVEN OF THEIR TOP 10 are not ranked contenders for any of the other 6.

Of the 170 fighters that have a top 10 ranking across the 17 weight divisions with the WBA, 80 (that is 47.1%) of them are not ranked by either the WBC, IBF, WBO, Ring, Box Rec or TNBR as top 10 contenders (the same can be said for 69 of the WBO's top 10, 52 with the WBC, 46 with the IBF, 18 Box Rec, 8 TNBR and just 4 of the Ring's top ten) .

Of the 85 fighters ranked Top 5 contenders by the WBA, 35 (thats 41.2%) of the them are not TOP TEN with any other body (wbo - 28, WBC & IBF 13 each, TBR - 2, whilst both Box Rec and the Ring can say that every fighter that the rank top 5 across all weight divisions are ranked at least top 10 by their rival / contemporary ranking systems).

On that basis, the IBF is actually the most consistent of the governing bodies for ranking actual contenders (nearly 75% of their top 10 contenders appear with at least one other body).

The WBA just makes it up as they go along.

IBF easily. Stripped a lineal champion in Tyson Fury and offered the belt to a pair of bums.

All WBA-interim champions, that's why they aren't ranked at the other organisations.

WBC has my vote. Atleast the WBA didn't sanction Garcia-Guerrero as a title fight.

I really want to punch fat Mauricio Sulaiman in his mouth. Something about his attitude and how he tries to be buddy-buddy with fighters after basically shaking them down for sanctioning fees irritates me.

IBF for giving Martin one year to fulfil his mandatory obligations.

They are all pretty bad but this year I think it has to go to the IBF. They stripped a fighter who conclusively defeated the longest reigning champ in the sport for not fighting their mandatory when said long reigning champ has activated an immediate rematch clause.

Their heavyweight belt is now a worthless trinket that means nothing. Imagine if the IBF was the only title how idiotic that decision would be. It would be like Ali defeats Liston ... they have a rematch but uh oh the IBF strips ali of the title and gives it to Zora Foley or something so Liston and Ali end up rematching with no title on the line ... wtf idiotic.

IBF for stripping Fury and having JoJo Dan as it's #1 welterweight contender.
