Comments Thread For: Even Bradley Was Surprised Pacquiao Wanted A Third Fight

NEW YORK – Disgruntled fans and media weren’t the only ones surprised Manny Pacquiao wanted to fight Timothy Bradley a third time.

Bradley admitted Thursday that he, too, was “very surprised” when Top Rank president Todd duBoef called his wife/manager, Monica, late last month to inform her of Pacquiao’s interest in a rubber match. The 32-year-old Bradley assumed after he lost their April 2014 rematch by unanimous decision that a third Pacquiao opportunity wouldn’t present itself.

He's a new monster until he gets tagged and starts fighting back like he's having 'Nam flashbacks.

Its easy , he has 2 wins over Bradley so if he loses he can use the surgery excuse and the gullibles will swallow it like their last feed , I can see it now Bradley wins and fanboys start the well he beat him twice he must have been injured or some other BS .

Now if he chose Crawford or Khan a BS excuse wont have the same steam if he lost to them .

Tim was chosen by Manny as a win with a built in excuse if he lost , plain and simple .

I am afraid that Bradley will beat my boy Manny this time. Bradley's been active and Pacman is older and coming from a major injury. Bob Arum is a weasel! Didn't want the chance of loosing his new cashcow Crawford.

I think that Bradley will win this time.

Not just because of Atlas, because of what Bradley said.

It will be the same Manny.

Most pacfans did not enjoy the first half of their 2nd fight.

But I hope Manny wins just in case it is his last fight.

Everybody is surprised. As a fan I am turned off by that fight. Hope Manny retires once and for all, nothing left to prove...

We were surprised too. After you win 20 of 24 rounds what is the point of this?
And if he loses it erases the previous fights. People will remember the loss because it's his last fight.
