Heavyweight hopeful Jarrell 'Big Baby' Miller - who is appearing on the latest edition of 'ShoBox' this Friday night against Donovan Denis from the Casino del Sol in Tuscon, Arizona - is a big believer in himself. Despite having a record of just 15-0-1 (13 KO's) he believes he will soon be ruling the newly revitalized division very shortly.

Just did a boxrec check on the guy. Christ he is heavy.

    280lbs in his last fight

He's been as low as 250 though which suggests to me he just doesnt stay in shape.

    is he any good?

Apparently he started out in Muay Thai, kickboxing, and then transitioned into boxing in his mid teens. He made it to the final of the New York Golden Gloves in 2007 but lost to Tor Hamer.

Looks like another big guy with some power who is using his physicality to win fights rather than skills.

I've been following this guy. I've got 5 or 6 of his fights. He hovers around 280. From the earlier fights he was a soft 280 but he actually leaned down & is still 280. He has tree trunks for legs & could be pretty hard to push around. He has pretty good hand speed for a man his size & throws a lot of punches. He works behind a jab & throws to body. He hasn't fought anyone yet but he is a guy who caught my eye a year ago. He was in the 260s & said he wanted to put on weight then work it into muscle. I know we hear that a lot from HWs but this guy actually did what he said he would do. We will soon see how good he is when he steps up. He has an MMA & kick boxing background. One guy i'll be keeping my eye on
