    Eddie Chambers

What's up with Fast Eddie these days?

I haven't seen him fight in a while, and he used to get good fights all the time: Povetkin, Dimitrenko, Sam Peter, Klitschko, etc.

I'd like to see him back in the ring testing these young heavyweights.

I was wondering the same thing recently. Appears he's been fighting low level guys over in Blighty. Only fought once last year. Don't know what's happening with him really. Looks like the schooling he got from Mchunu really screwed with his self-belief. Shame. He was, and probably still is, a very good fighter. Just had a Wlad moment against Mchunu.

He had those back to back losses against Adamek and Mchunu and around that time he was training with Tyson Fury.

I think when you're a small guy at HW who relies completely on speed then you hit 30 and your muscles turn to fat your elite days are probably numbered. He just stays busy against journeymen lately. Probably hoping for one more big fight.

Surprised Hearn hasn't pulled him in for Joshua.

Vaguely relevant, experienced, quick and competent, might last some rounds, whilst be very low risk of causing an upset.

Would be a decent payday for Chambers too, especially if the card was stacked with a couple of world titles to allow Matchroom to fulfill one of their obligated Sky PPV's.

He was, i don't think he's been used for a while. Not really the best preparation for fighting Klitschko.

Eddie claims that he's ducked and wants the big fights, but he's shown no desire to try and get anything sorted.

I stopped following him on twitter because I was sick if him constantly complaining about everyone "ducking" him. But he def got more shredded than he was earlier in his career.

He's a heavyweight with no power who has no problem stinking up the show. These guys just don't get it.

No one else gets to be Floyd. No one else in our history will ever get to be as boring as Floyd, and still be a draw. So many black fighters trying to fight "safe", none of them realize, they aren't Floyd.

He just doesn't want to do the work. If he's serious about a big fight, he should get busy, fight a few cans, get up the rankings. I could see someone giving him a shot, he's past prime, pretty easy defense for a champion and he's still a name.

Hmmm I looked at some pics from his last fight and he doesn't look so bad

I stopped watching him after the Mchunu fight so I just remember him starting to grow granny ****

Funny you mentioned that, I was thinking about Chambers yesterday and saw an interview where he said he's looking for a decent name to face in the next few months.

He also did an interview with the Lukie Boxing podcast last week:
