Earlier today at Hotel Grand Palace in Tokyo, a press conference took place where it was officially announced that a big event would take place March 4 at the Shimazu Arena in the city of Kyoto. The card will be organized by influential Japanese promoter Akihiko Honda, who is the head of the more traditional Teiken Boxing Gym in Tokyo.

If Yamanaka had any honor he would give a rematch to Moreno.

It's coming, Moreno is fighting Suriyan Sor Rungvisai in April to decide who gets the rematch with the God of Left. Good fight. Rooting for Suriyan, his motor might overwhelm Moreno in the long run, and we know how Moreno deals with pressure.

It's apparent that Yamanaka's #1 @ 118 right now, but unless he starts fighting outside of Japan he's destined never to gain the fame & fortune he deserves. A unification with WBA champ Payano on a major card in the USA would surely help rectify this!

Suriyan vs Moreno is a great match up!

Yamanaka has spoken about bouts in the US, reality is if he will do a "Nishioka" and get a retirement payday from it.
