But it's okay to praise a misogynist (Billy Joe Saunders) or another half racist (Conor McGregor).

It's a combination of race and the Haymon/Mayweather association. Broner was loved when he was beefing with Floyd

Just look at this thread. People will point out Fury gets a lot of hate in the UK. The British people didn't think he properly represented British sportsman of the year. But they leave out the reason for his. Fury equated gays to pedo's, went on a sexist rant against female athletes and he threatened to physically harm the reporter who wrote the article. Fury even lied about it and the reporter released the raw audio. Fury later apologized. People try to make it seem as if Fury didn't bring this upon himself.

Reporters and fans will make fun of Broner for having so many children out of wedlock but say nothing about Pacquiao and De La Hoya's illegitimate children they don't even acknowledge. Or De La Hoya paying off a teenager who accused him of ****.

There is a double standard. Some of it is based off race and some of it is based off favoritism.

1st let me say that Im a WWE fan so I really enjoyed the whole WWE type confrontation Fury brought to boxing this past weekend, it had me waiting for Sting to comedown from the rafters lol but honestly Ive never got a feel good feeling from Broners antics. If anything, Broner isnt doing anything for himself or the African American culture but feeding into "the racist" by living up to bad stereotypes. Im sure there are a lot of African American athletes at a high level that dont appreciate his character either. I think he just tries way to hard and Broner should be himself, if he were to portray himself as a guy thatll fight anyone, anytime, & anywhere win lose or draw, he wouldnt get half the bad press and wont be looking for an excuse as to why people dont like him.

Fury is funny and his crazy personality is entertaining. I don't give a crap about his color, but Broner is usually ignorant. His potential is great, but his showmanship is sub par. Maidana solved that problem.

He needs to stop and beat a few top tier guys. I feel bad he didn't get the PAC fight. That would have been fun.
