everybody just jump ship and go with Haymant

Idealy wouldnt it better for the sport we get the big fights like kolv vs adonis, so many options open up for GGG ..he already has most of the feather weight on luck Walters vs LSC would be epic etce ..etc

He will have to work with hbo showtime pbc etc

But my question on the bussiness side can he afford to sign any more people I haven't heard him sign anybody recently in a couple of months lol

lol at the idea of lsc fighting walters.

on topic, i don't think haymon can pay to those guys unless he lets them fight on premium tv networks, HBO and showtime

Yeah it would be great, if they actually fought each other. I'd be all for it. But even now he has the majority of the guys and you get lousy fights. The quality has improved lately and I think it's because the ratings are bombing and they need to save them somehow. The same needs to happen to HBO. They need their ratings to suffer so they don't keep feeding us pointless fights.

My feelings on the matter for awhile now. Boxing needs to suffer.

They already lost like half a billion dollars just last year with the guys that they have signed. That ship would sink like the Titanic it it took on all that weight.

Depends on your definition of "better for the sport."

If everyone signed with Haymon, it would definitely be better for the fans. It would also be better for MOST fighters.

It would not be better for the top fighters as the old system was great for the elite, while the new system if better for a larger portion of the fighters.

Al's end game is clear. HBO pays very little for boxing compared to what other networks pay for other sports. Al's trying to force a situation where someone ends up paying way more for boxing every year than HBO was paying.

We could still be two years away from finding out if he can make that happen. We'll see.
