When you are ranked no2 heavyweight in uk you then have responsibilities and cant say you arent ready? Haye can say hes not ready because hes been out 3 or 4 years. If josh isnt ready its going down the trying to keep zero route of doing things. You can learn in defeat so dont be scared. The alternative is blowing people out in one round not learning anything.

Of course its risky and its risky for haye as well. Haye is only a contender just like Josh, they are in the same boat trying to get somewhere. Josh has got to learn, and he may very well learn in beating haye. In his toughest contest to date.
We dont know who would win, thats why fans want it.
Fight Haye why ? The Brits will pay to see him in ppv fights he wins in 2-3 rounds, why face a guy he would lose to ? What you're saying makes zero sense. Honestly Bellew does ppv too.

Bellew, Conlon or whatever name he goes by would do well in the UK vs Joshua, Haye is too dangerous for Hearn's cash cow to face. Lets see how Haye does against a top thirty guy or someone who did not learn boxing from youtube.

Can anyone name one fighter DEMORI could beat?? one

DeMori couldn't beat any heavy in the top 50. How can fighting a total disgraceful bum DeMori who fought like a wimp against Haye give Haye any credibility? George Groves beats DeMori. Hell Matt hatton takes out DeMori.

Strongly dislike Haye and would love to see AJ retire him with a monster shot.

But don't think AJ is ready for this one yet, even if Haye was running around the ring like Vs Wlad.

Joshua needs to keep building, he's still young and has a few flaws.

Haye's not getting any younger and needs to fight top ten ranked fighters and get in title contention. He shouldn't be going for a big name easy pickings like Joshua.
I want you guys to think about something. Anthony joshiua has got to be ready cause hes ranked number 2 by 2 organisations. joseph parker is right behind him ranked. Its time to put up or shut up cause there will be dangerous fights coming his way anyway....

It's a good match up and probably a good time for both fighters. Haye has been out of the ring for a long time, he's only had less than 1 round action in over 3 years. So for Joshua it's probably a decent time to face Haye, and on the flipside a win over Joshua will propel Haye back into the top 10 in one fight Big money involved too, it's almost certainly going to happen this year.

Josh said he wants haye. Maybe he can get haye in 2017 but who knows if haye will be available by then he may have moved on, he may have lost, anything can happen in that time.

Haye might be a champ by then and then not want to fight josh. Wilder might get haye and finish him off and then haye isn't on Joshs radar.

Haye is 36, how old does josh want haye to be before fighting him?
Josh wouldn't say hes not ready for him because boxers are poker faced and that's like an admission he has a loss to haye already. Eubanks even says he could beat GGG now.

I think the Haye haters need to get their facts right and straight. It's not a question of whether Haye "deserves" AJ (just because he beat a helpless De Mori Cab Driver) I feel but rather the question should be is the match-up between these two together justified. People need to understand that Haye is a former Heavyweight World Champion who has, no denying it, one of the heaviest sets of hands in the division now coupled the fact that he's the fastest boxer out there currently.

I agree Haye hasn't done enough to earn him the right to fight one of the highest ranked heavyweights in the division now given he's just come out of retirement but his pedigree makes for an interesting match up. Even with three years' ring rust, I still peg Haye to beat AJ by knockout. There is simply no way AJ is ready. He beats any heavyweight comfortably at this stage of his career with the exception of a Klitschko or Fury.

I'll go as far as saying that I am still one of the few Haye fans who believes that, on his night, does have the ability to beat EVERY single heavyweight now. I've also spoken to a lot of fans who echo my sentiments in that the majority don't hate Haye because he's "crap" - it's because he's an underachiever for his talent.

He looked slow against De Mori, I'll admit, because of his bigger weight. I can't tell if this new jacked up version is better than the last but I'm glad Haye is back.

If i were joshua i would fight haye at the end of the year IMO.
Joseph parker is ranked behind him and they will have to fight for mandatory position. Before i get eventually beat by another hot prospect i fight haye for millions..But thats just me

Haye, I am a boxing fan and I do not want to see you fight. You were so scared against Wladmir and wet your pants. You talked big, only to cry "my little toe" and did nothing except cower in fear during the fight.

I think it's only fair that we look for Haye to prove himself first as the guy in the ring with him proved little.Lets see that this extra stone plus actually works and doesn't bring him to a standstill after a few rounds .As little as we've seen of AJ in his 15 fights it's fair to say since the Whyte fight we know a lot more , we know he will take some moving. Is Hayes shoulder going to collapse, is he going to gas, is he going to go when Josh's first big one lands ?
Haye is the one that has things to prove before I either buy a ticket or the PPV and you know that fast Eddie will take the piss on both !
