In case this fight happens (no matter where), I'll be curious to see which PED testing body would be involved...

Big Russian following in Brooklyn, should happen in the Barclay's.

I hope it happens but I won't hold my breath. 50/50 fight in my opinion.

As soon as I heard about Martin being in line for the IBF shot I knew things were going to get complicated. Haymon will not want to give up the WBC belt if at all possible.

But you're looking at a notoriously conservative promoter here who will not risk his primary assets unless there's no other option or he miscalculates. Povetkin, a Russian, picking up the belt is not that terrible an outcome for Haymon. It would be different if a rival American who he didn't control was going to start calling himself the heavyweight champion.

Probably get the same if not better for a Povetkin fight.

Hope the details get done with as little bullshit during negotiations as possible.

Wonder how they'll handle the drug testing issue? Povetkin shouldn't trust USADA and Wilder sure as shit shouldn't trust the Russians. The fairest outcome will be to have no testing I suspect.

Wilders edge is fighting in the USA not Russia

Wilder as champ has to have the fight with Povetkin in the uSA. Problem is no one in the USA cares about Wilder. If it's a purse bid the fight goes to Russia and turns in Povie's favor. Wilder needs the USA. Problem is, the USA fan base could care less.
