I don't want this turning into a Floyd hate thread but I just needed to correct you, because whenever a boxer is regarded as a "star", which Mayweather was for close to 10 years, they have some sort of "mainstream" endorsement. Khan had/has Reebok and Maximuscle and so on, the lieks of Leonard/Duran/Hagler all appeared in major ad campaigns in the US for soft drinks and so on. Pacquiao was the face of numerous products in the Philipines and even did that stint in the US.
I could go on and on about Holyfield, Tyson, Lennox but I think I made my point. Floyd, for whatever reason, was never endorsed as a brand ambassador.Comment

Of course Floyd could have gotten major sponsorship deals if he wanted to.Comment

Honestly ,wrote that drivel while driving and probably exaggerated that line just to get my point across but I think it's a possibility.
What's Pac make off sponsors 2-10 mill a year , how long has he made that 8-10 years. So let's say 16 to 100 million he's made off endorsements. Meanwhile I've watched Mayweather videos where he's bragging ( as usual ) about the $ he makes off TMT I forget the exact #. Its his brand and his over priced t-shirts and hats the margins are probably huge, plus it would seem he let the brand build organically and didn't put allot of $ to start it up and just let his name and associations generate the buzz/sales . TMT has resonated with people, I've seen TMT numerous times in 5 countries in a span of a year. I don't think its out of the realm of possibility to say the brand is 7 -8 figures in sales the last couple years. So even though it's all just ****** trash according to Addix , their money spends the same way as us , the upper crust of society on NSB. Plus if he ever wanted to he can sell it to a huge conglomerate probably for 8 - 9 figures.
I'm all for GGG / Manny or any other boxer getting endorsements and obviously Mannys made a killing off corporate. I just think Mayweather being the boss of his own brand is the best way to go and probably if not now most likely in the future the more financially sucessfull way to do things. Disagree if you want but just look how they get paid in the sport. Pac takes home in some fights 15% of his damn purse and even less of the actual revenue generated, while Floyd is making $ if you buy a hot dog at his fight.Comment

He's sponsored by Hublot (luxury watch brand) and FanDuel.I don't want this turning into a Floyd hate thread but I just needed to correct you, because whenever a boxer is regarded as a "star", which Mayweather was for close to 10 years, they have some sort of "mainstream" endorsement. I dunno about 2007 but after his conviction, no brand wanted to get near him, kinda how Tiger lost tonnes of endorsement following his own idiocy. I think he may have gotten them back though.Comment
