i'd like to see a sincere attempt to make the jacobs fight at some point. if golovkin can't get a single unification fight this year it will be a massive setback

The only fight that matters is Canelo. Makes no difference who else he fights.

How about someone who actually wants to fight him? (See signature)

          Golovkin's priority list should go-

1 canelo. Biggest $$ plus lineal
2 froch at 168,,, big cash vs a retired fighter
3 chavez jr at 170,,, big cash little risk
          4 Saunders
          5 Jacobs
          6 Eubanks jr
7 quillen- if your really desperate for an opponent
          8 charo/Andrade/Lara

I hope Jacobs but I think it would be his mandatory Tureal Johnson?
Or however hell you spell that name.

                You got to be realistic

                2. Daniel Jacobs - Can't happen
                3. Billy Joe Saunders - Hoe ass *****
                4. David Lemieux - Beat
                5. Andy Lee - Possible.
                6. Peter Quillin - Can't happen.
                7. Hassan N'Dam N'Jikam - Possible
                8. Chris Eubank Jr - Won't happen.
                9. Daniel Geale - Beat
                10.Michel Soro - Possible

Best he can do is stay active...Tureano Johnson, Heiland and maybe a top 10 guy like Lee or N'Dam would suffice. If you wanted to see Lee in December why wouldn't you want to see it now? If it was a good fight then, nothing changed other than Lee not having a meaningless paper title. He's the same Andy Lee he's always been.

You mean the guy who fought jan zaveck? He's not interested in fighting any decent opponent, and if he does, he'll just run away the whole time. That fight would be a disgrace.

Loefler is on record saying he's neutral with PBC/Haymon/DiBella and that he has to check with HBO. It can happen.
