Wilder wins either way. The only way it goes to Russia is if Povetkins Sugar Daddy puts up an absolutely ridiculous bid....60% of which Wilder gets. He will have to score a knockout to win, but he will lose the title for free if he doesnt go to Russia anyway.

If Wilder beats him? I'll acknowledge Wilder as a top 4 heavyweight in the world right now (alongside Klitschko, Fury, and Luis Ortiz). But until then, he's around 6th or so for me.
I understand what you are saying, but KO'ing all but 1 of your opponents is not exactly struggling to me.

Yea, let's see what Wilder does agains Povetkin, but in my opinion, Alexander doesn't move as well as Szpilka did and Povetkin also comes forward a lot more. Sasha trying to get inside may have him running into right hands, and he is very hittable. We will see what happens, HW's are getting very interesting.

Wilder was up on all 3 cards, and the unofficial scorecard before sending Szpilka into orbit. That aside, when the hell did Luis Ortiz become top 4? A win over Jennings catapults you that far?

There was no way Wilder should have been ahead on all three cards, but then again, the same bull**** people complain about fighting in Russia due to judging happens here in the U.S. Herp derp, let's show only Wilder highlights.

Not like this doesn't happen all the time, don't act like it doesn't. Canelo vs Lara, Pascal vs Gonzalez, etc.
He was up scoring the Fury way. Winning fights without landing a punch.

Was Spilka clowning in the ring??? I missed that. I didn't think that he got caught because he was clowning around. I know I felt bad for his girlfriend. She probably shouldn't attend his fights. She was crying even during a give or take either way round. I thought she would of had a heartache after seeing Spilka catch one right on the chin.

I had the fight pretty close, surprised Wilder looked so troubled by Szpilka's movement. I thought for sure he'd be able to utilize his reach (jab) more; if memory serves me right he only threw a handful of combinations off the jab.

Regarding Ortiz, he performed good against a quality opponent and showed an assortment of skills. I think he has the potential to beat anyone and looks to be more well rounded than Wilder or Fury.

I don't care if they fight on the moon. Just make the fight.

Povetkin does a great job protecting his chin. Not to mention, he is very durable and throws some very heavy-handed punches. Wilder does have the physical advantage, being much taller and with some very long arms, but at the same time, Wilder's footwork and overall defense need better refinement. Povetkin is one of the few fighters you do not want to let land a powershot. Same for Wilder's jab. Klitschko completely dominated Povetkin, but that was because his fantastic jab (and clinching), something Wilder lacks in both regard. Not to mention, he still couldn't KO Povetkin, and I think Klitschko has more power than Wilder.

I don't rate Wilder's KO list highly. He failed to KO Stiverne, and I'm certain Malik Scott took a dive (not saying Wilder had anything to do with it). What other top fighter has he KO'd? It's great that he's knocking out a lot of people, and he certainly does have the power to knock anyone out in the heavyweight division, but Povetkin is a whole-nother level of fighter compared to Szpilka.

Personal bias. I'm saying Ortiz can beat almost anyone in the heavyweight division. I've been fanboying Ortiz since the very first professional fight of his I saw (obviously, prior to his Jennings fight). I was very impressed with him overall, size, power, speed, and technical skill. Let's face it, dominating Bryant Jennings is a bigger win than any of the victories on Wilder's resume. I know styles make fights, and I know it's unfair to compare Bryant Jennings vs Szpilka compared to Wilder's performance, but I'm still certain Jennings could beat anyone Wilder has come across. It's more of an eye-test, and less of a, "how would you rank the heavyweight division by resume?".

Yeah, I was being a bit unfair here. I watched it again and it could have been +/- 2 without counting the final round KO (imo). I think some of the rounds were just close, somewhat like how Lara vs Canelo was.
