    Serious answer.

    No.
Me either which is why the theory of Ward ducking to GGG to fight Kovalev makes zero sense. I would expect something like that on a boxing forum but to hear that allegation from another professional fighter seems strange.

      You forgot the most obvious.

Its already a fact that Ward ducked GGG when the fight was offered to him by HBO in late 2013. He passed on the fight, probably because too much risk at that time? Anyway, GGG fought Curtis Stevens and Ward fought Rodriguez and then Ward retired basically. Since then he was never able to make 168 again.

Why do you think Ward never made a move when GGG was available to fight and he only made that hoax offer when GGG had signed for a PPV and was mandatory for Canelo/Cotto? Because Ward knew GGG cant pass on the Canelo showdown and has to say no, so Ward can fool the public and claim GGG doesnt want it.

It worked out for some people without common sense, the rest gladly knows whats up.

Anyway Ward couldnt make 168 for almost 3 years now. He had a year time to train and make 168 but he couldnt, he fought at 172.

Little G was available to fight Froch but not Ward. Little G has accepted step aside money twice now for his "mandatory", looks to me little G is happy taking cash for little risk.

I'm not sure of the exact time line of Ward's various contract disputes but I'm pretty sure he was in the process of taking Goosen back to court before and after the Rodrigues fight. It's reasonable to believe that Ward and Goosen's crumbling relationship contributed to the GGG fight not taking place.

Maybe Ward is more at fault for the fight not happening due to his bad business decisions, I just don't think the term "duck" applies in this situation.
