I'd say that Black fighters, and I guess you can say it's because they are most associated with Al Haymon but perhaps not, duck more challenging fights than any other group in the recent history of boxing. Here are just a few examples:

1. Floyd never fought the biggest challenge to him at the time he was the biggest challenge: waited for Pac to be KO'd and turn 36, ducked Margo for Baldomir, ducked Winky Wright, ducked Triple G at 154, ducked Hatton and Cotto at 140;

2. Andre Ward, obviously ducked a Froch rematch in the U.K., ducked anyone at 175 although fights bums at 172 and gets his fights rejected by NSAC;

3. Rigo = ducks Loma by crying about a measly 4 pound step up;

4. Roy Jones ducked Michaelewski in his prime, fought nobodies at 175 for several years;

5. Crawford continues to fight bums;

6. Rid**** Bowe ducked Lennox Lewis to the point of throwing the title in the garbage can;

7. Laila Ali ducked ANYONE who was even close to a challenge and lost to Frazier's daughter aka a part-time boxer who worked in the legal field;

I could go on and on here...

Not to take away from the Black fighters who have shown a lot of heart and courage, for example:

1. Ali - greatest of all time
2. Holyfield
3. B-Hop
4. Shane Mosley

And obviously dozens and dozens more...

That kind of arrangement is bog-standard and has been used for more than a century.

If Kovalev loses to Pascal, the contract is null-and-void..... SIMPLE !!

There is no reason whatsoever why it cannot happen, and this article is absolute rubbish.

Michel is 100% correct, and within his rights, to wait for the result of the Pascal/Kovalev fight before committing Stevenson's services..... but there is no reason whatsoever why a standard "providing we both win" clause cannot be put in place.

This fight is nowhere near as hard to make as it has been.

I cannot see that fight happening with this kind of senseless fcukery.

I love hearing this BS from Stevensons team, scared to s*** of ever facing Kovalev, so here is another good excuse, I'm sure they'll find another Tommy Karpency to fight in April. Stevenson is the biggest chump in boxing. Kovalev has a Ward fight on the horizon so Stevenson is irrelevant anyway. Just retire already.

It's space filler, that's it. Boxing journalism is horrible. I see so many articles with only one side of the story. Is it really that hard to ask the other side for a comment? I remember during the Fury/IBF situation there was an article with Duva saying she tried to negotiate an agreement with Mick Hennessy to avoid stripping Fury. I was waiting for a comment from Hennessy because Duva is a known liar. No comment from Hennessy in the article. A fan on twitter asked him and he said she hadn't contacted him.
