A win vs. GGG would be much better for his legacy. Even a rematch with Canelo for a MW title would be better than a rematch with Pacquiao! The post fight should've been handled in a much more professional manner:Floyd v GGG would be better for Floyd legacy wise. People are just forgetting about Floyd now. Floyd's fans hope his lrgsacy will grow in time but that's clearly not going to happen. Not enough talking points in his fights. Nothing exciting or Floyd nrvrt took risks of any serious degree
But PAC rematch would be OK beating 2 arm PAC this time
June 12, 2015:
Nobody knew about Pacquiao's pre-fight injury, but in revealing it to the gathered media afterward, Team Pacquiao did its best Cool Hand Luke imitation. It had a failure to communicate — with each other.
Roach said he was surprised when one of the first questions in the post-match news conference was about the injury. He had been told on the way out, by Top Rank's head man, Bob Arum, to say nothing. But apparently it was Arum, angry that the Nevada Athletic Commission had not allowed Pacquiao to be given a doctor-approved and legal painkiller injection just before the fight, who clued in a couple of reporters just before the conference.
Pacquiao apparently had no marching orders, so as soon as the question came up, he told the truth about the injury and the technicality that disallowed his pain-killing shot.
Pacquiao's adviser, Michael Koncz, who had filled out the form for the commission that would have allowed the injection had Koncz checked "Yes" in a box that asked about any injuries, was also, according to Roach, recommending that mum be the word on the injury.
But once Arum told the two reporters, and once Pacquiao publicly told all, there was no turning back. Now, Mayweather could — and did — spout off about Pacquiao being a guy looking for excuses.
Soon, a member of the Nevada commission was taking the microphone to refute any wrongdoing or unfairness on their part, Arum was spouting back, and the public saw a sport, disintegrating before its eyes. It probably had expected this all along. But the magnitude of this fight seemed to allow some denial. Boxing wouldn't let its usual mess happen at Mayweather-Pacquiao, would it?
Yes it would. The usual odor became a stench.

just because the first fight never quite lit up and caught Fire ...it's not always the same in the rematch, but there were proven reasons why some things affected it.....We know that NSAC never allowed pacquaio his legal shot and we know pacquaio was injured.....so that alone for me gives it justification for another fight between the 2 greatest fighters in this era...wilder is linked to haymon and Sam watson and those two will know if floyd is coming back to face manny....one thing none of us has not thought is maybe floyd mayweather secretly knows pacquaio was injured and he knows beating an injured pacquaio takes something away from his victory...I know if I was a champion and I beat another champion knowing he was not 100 percent and people will look on at me and say he was injured and his performance was 100 percent....I would want to prove them wrong and show I was the better man period.......I want to see it because I know what potential this fight could beComment

I would love to as well! Just not for no $100... That was the hardest PPV fight I've ever seen to find at local bars, etc. Most wanted at least a $30 charge just to come in!!!Comment

Most of it's going to be on how Pac looks against TB. If Pac lokos sensational and does his thing??? They won't even be able to print enough $$$$$$ for a rematch. If he looks like crap or even loses? It won't happen.Comment
