If Szpilka had maintained his pace and not walked into a silly shot he'd have outboxed wilder over 12 tonight.
Exactly. And what improvements did we see? The commentators sure made it sound like he was amazing, but honestly if anything I saw a decline.

Which means Martin/Mansour... a great fight IMO.

Quintessential lucky punch. Szpilka made a dumb mistake, right there for Wilder to throw the right punch. I hope now you do understand what actually happened.

Yes he is exciting to watch, but not because of talent.

The titles should be on the waist of the best fighters on the planet. Wilder is not one of those.

He still hasn't fought any world class opponent and he struggles against average dudes.

Yes he's entertaining but he's got a title and title holders should be fighting the best opponents or AT LEAST their mandatory. When you duck your mandatory and fight three hand picked chumps, i'm not going to like you.

It's the same reason I don't like Kell Brook, he fights **** opponents and claims to be a world champion and he at least fought HIS mandatories.
Who said he couldn't beat world class opponents? With power like his, he gives any heavyweight a run for their money. You need a helluva chin to withstand his type of power. I'm not saying that he's better than Fury, Ortiz, Haye, or any of those guys, I'm just saying he has the eraser. And the fact that he knocks fighters out while he's off balance. Now imagine him with proper technique. THAT'S scary stuff!

He'll be in big trouble if he fights Haye, Fury, Joshua or Povetkin.

You're overrating Wilder's power. You can't rate someone's power if they've been slaying bums.

I'm not a huge fan of Haye but I think he would have Wilder unconscious inside a round.

                Fury would embarrass Wilder.

Wilder has no ring IQ and garbage boxing skills.

Wilders power is still overrated. He landed some punches on Szpilka earlier with no effect. It took a punch that Szpilka saw not comming to really hurt him. Punches you dont see comming always hurt.
