He beat Wlad. Staring contest or not, he did something no one else came close to doing for a decade. That means he's pretty damned good.

Wilder on the other hand still needs to prove he's on Wlad's level, let alone Fury's. I suspect he's nowhere close.

Fury is getting the same type of hate from non-UK based fans. While it doesn't drive me insane (being American and all), it's still just as ****** as the hate the Wilder receives. They're both 2 very good fighters regardless of what the opposite fan base says. There's no sense in getting mad at people talking trash on NSB. 95% of this site is "such and such fighter is a bum," so just ignore the idiocy and talk to guys who give objective opinions only.

He won the fight no question but let's not act like he put on some amazing performance.

Wlad got thoroughly dominated. It was a masterclass.

No one looks "amazing" against Wlad

Name a fighter that looked "amazing" or just good for that matter against Wladimir the past decade

Favoring Fury over wilder does not make fury unstoppable lol. Lets keep the conversation real instead of spouting silly statements like that

I think that's exactly what we can do. Do you realise how skilfully Fury fought to shut down Wlad like that? You think Wlad just randomly decided not to throw any punches so he could lose his titles and end his decade long reign? It was all Fury.

Chisora was the same. High volume pressure fighter coming off a five fight win streak suddenly looks like a clueless punchbag when he fights Fury. Coincidence? Of course not. Fury makes fighters second guess themselves then breaks them down.

That's why people find it so hard to give him any credit for his victories. He makes fighters look bad rather than looking great himself. That in turn makes it easy for critics to claim that the opponents he beat just had off nights or got old overnight when the evidence is far from solid.

Wilder's the opposite. He beats guys down with superior speed, strength and aggression. But as his level of opposition has increased he's started to look increasingly ragged. Has he regressed, or are the opponents just making him look bad?

I like Wilder and Fury. I think they're both great for boxing. The HW division is boxing to most people. This rivalry could be huge for the sport.
