You dumb people don't realize that even GGG is about money, nothing else.Comment

my question is why would team ggg allow a verbal agreement when they could of forced more? my guess is gbp gave them money. I just find it strange all they got was a verbal agreement when they could of forced canelo into a corner where if he would not of been able to not fight no way he can say no in that situationComment

Keep his word to start negotiating in good faith once he's done with this voluntary they let him have. If he's still not ready, have him stripped and move onComment

I would be embarrassed if I was a ginger fan. How can you feel good about a fighter that is not man enough to fight real middleweights when he has one of the middleweight titles. Not to mention on fight night he comes in as a solid middleweight. Ginger can come in any weight up to 160 of his choice but allow your middleweight opponent to fight at the 160 limit. Then you might gets some credibility at defending your belt.Comment

It is the third biggest fight to be made, Fury V Wilder, Stevenson V Kovalev, and now Canelo V Golovkin. So yeah it has to happen. Hell all three need to be made but this is boxing, we'll be lucky if one of those actually ends up happening in the next 3 years. I put fury v wilder first because only lord knows how far those two will take the fight selling, kovalev v stevenson has been brewing for a long time, Golovkin V Canelo because honestly it's probably the only that happens in the states.
Nah, Ward/Kovalev is bigger.
Both P4P fighters.
But yea I agree, that is a big fight, no question.
I highly doubt it will happen dude.
From the other thread.....
Canelo is Not Ruling Out Golovkin, Cotto or Pacquiao in Future.....
" not ruling out "..... ?
So, it is accurate to say that Golovkin/Canelo is not set-in-stone then ?
The WBC are going to look real ****** here.
There is clearly no agreement in place to face Golovkin this year.
I know that the WBC appear to have contradicted their own rules, and common-sense, by mandating Golovkin to Canelo (but completely ignoring Wladimir Klitschko, the best heavyweight on the planet, for about a decade)..... but they did..... so the ONLY justifiable reason for the WBC to defer that mandatory now, would be to allow Canelo time to adapt to 160, as he is clearly NOT a genuine middleweight.
But Canelo just made an offer to the 154lb'er Smith, so how will that enable him to adapt to 160 to prepare for Golovkin?
The WBC are going to look real ****** here.
And so are the golovtards who keep whining about that fight
It is pretty lame from Canelo, fkn unprofessional..... but no more lame and unprofessional than Hypekin, who can have that fight anytime he wants it, IF he is prepared to be a man of his word and attempt to live up to his hype.Comment
