Comments Thread For: Bernard Hopkins Turns 51, Plans on One More Fight in 2016
Bernard Hopkins turned 51-years-old today. And even at that ripe old age he still has designs on boxing once more before finally walking off into the sunset.
I think he's earned the right to have a "safe" fight, so hopefully he doesn't pick anyone too dangerous. I'm sure he just wants to end his career on a win, not with the loss to Kovalev.
Everyone wants to credit Kovalev with a fantastic win over a "still-dangerous" Hopkins, yet little more than a year later they are trying to book Bernard into the old folks home... So, which is it? Because, you can't have it both ways.
