You are banking too much on that "if". Currently Canelo is the most relevant active Mexican fighter in the sport and Estrada is the best skilled. Atleast, in my opinion.

Not always true. If a Mexican-American fights a real Mexican from Mexico, the Mexicans from my neighborhood will root for the Mexican born fighter. I never really understood why but it's just politics.
