I would love Golovkin/Lara. I think GGG destroys Lara, but the style match-up, Canelo as a former opponent who struggled with Lara, and GGG haters parading Lara as someone who GGG is avoiding, and Lara being out of Texas, it's a fight that makes a lot of sense for GGG to take. I just doubt the politics would allow it.

Duva just reported back that Kovalev/Stevenson looks dead due to network issues. It was to be on HBOppv with Stevenson getting 50/50 of the purse. Haymon c*ck-block in full effect.

GGG is more likely to take mandatory fights To keep belts or hold out for other belt holders.

Lara would have more luck calling out all middleweight title holders, not just one. Or maybe he should just suck it up and move up to the deep 155lb division. His fight with that champion was a much contested squeaker.

Jacobs vs Lara is an in house fight to make. Jacobs has had that WBA belt since August 2014.
Lara has had plenty of time to force this fight that people think he wants.
All Lara has done is talk about though because talking is easier than fighting.

Lara is a risk for anyone

Fighting Lara is always tough and honestly although I would like to see it GGG is in a no win position in that fight. If he beats Lara then he fought a good smaller fighter if he loses all big paydays go out the window. Even beating Canelo in my opinion will not give GGG full credit because he still beat a smaller guy. GGG needs to fight Quillen, Jacobs, Lee, Korobov to get full credit.

We need a new standard..show us the contract you tried to get him to sign, the emails between you and his team, because this "I called him out shhh is bullshhh." At least Ward can say "I have proof I tried", Lara gonna pull up twitter and say look? Last time he called Golovkin out he announced his opponent 2 days later while the media was talking about the call out.
