the winner of hatton/judah faces baldomir/gatti, which then takes margarito/mayweather. and hopefully that doesn't lead to gatti/mayweather because lord knows the outcome of that mismatch.

And lets get berto and julio in there to find out who the real rising welterweight star is.

why are so many people putting julio and berto in the same class.

julio has had like 25 fights berto has only had 11, give him time.

btw i think berto will be better but both of those guys are damn good.

julio seems to have more skill so far but berto has the edge in speed by far, he is fast as hell. but right now berto would get butchered by julio probably.

    judah-hatton - judah tko 7

    mayweather-margarito-mayweather tko 10

gatti-baldomir - hopefully baldomir so judah can get a rematch but i think gatti will beat him by KO in like 9 or so.

Well one thing you must take into account, most of Joel Julio's fights have been in Columbia and Julio has nowhere near the amateur pedigree that Berto has. I think both of these guys are a lot closer in their careers than most people realize, Julio has just got the better exposure.

A ZAB/Hatton fight would be most interesting at this point. If this can be scheduled in such a way where it won't mess up the rematch being ordered by IBF then there's a great posibilty that it will happen.

Question is why would Hatton fight a dangerous opponent in Zab who has just lost 2 consecutive fights?

a judah win would do nothing for hatton's career. absolutely nothing.

i couldn't agree more. if zab had won atleast one of his last fights, than i would say it would be a good stepping stone for ricky to try to prove himself in the division. but zab's stock has fallen and it wouldn't likely be a big money fight these days.

remember, hatton stated that he has 4 more fights left in him - which i think is rediculous given his young age. so he's most likely trying to set up some big money fights.
