I am not complaining. I get all boxing channels on direct tv and I never buy pay for views. I just wait a week and watch the same fight for free. I know who won already but to cheapskate me it beats the hell out of paying 50 bucks to watch it live. Free fights are even better because I watch them live.

Boxing isn't on very often. When it is, it's usually a mismatch or a fight that is difficult to get excited for like this one.

Showtime and HBO are a bargain for a big fight fan like me. I never buy their pfvs because I watch them for free a week later. I like your Canelo Cartel.

I'll be real, at first, I was thinking like a majority of people Guerrero is washed up and its a Danny Garcia showcase fight. This may be true but I (like 900k others) paid $70 in November for a pretty boring ass fight between a "real" (sarcastically quoted) Mexican vs. Puerto Rican so I am glad I can save $ and watch a fight that I would bet "$70" has more action than Miguel Cottos pitter pat pitter pat and Canelos slip 1 punch counter (rinse and repeat) bore-fest. Anyways, Im really excited for the sport of boxing to be on FOX, I hope this is the kind of fight that gets Jr. High and High School kids wanting to pick up a pair of BOXING gloves and not want to dry hump each other on a wrestling mat.

So with that said, why are so many people hating on free fights guaranteed to bring action??
Because there are tons of agenda driven trolls on NSB.

A hatred for Haymon and all things related to Floyd.

True boxing fans will support the sport any way they can, and will watch fights, regardless of promoter, network, or opponent.

It's still early to condemn PBC right now anyway, and the fact that "the best" matchups have yet to be made, is not a mistake. This is a business first and foremost. Don't forget that.

I think the criticism stems from Danny getting another soft touch after feasfing on washed up Paulie. All when the division needs clarity and the Haymon stable of welter weights is stacked. However, I do agree that it should be a fun fight if Guerrero brings it like he's been doing.

I don't under the whole it's free arguement, you still have to pay for cable. Also I think people should be able to complain about a fight even if it's on Fox. You wouldn't eat **** just because it was less expensive than before. The sport needs an overhaul and fights like Garcia vs Guerreroe aren't helping. And the fight end up being more competitive than originally thought but that doesn't change the fact that it's not a fight the fans asked for.

As for Gurerreo vs Garcia I'm content. I don't complain but I'm also not very excited for it. Garcia hasn't been in an entertaining fight since Lucas. I'm going to be watching but I watch everything.

You don't have to pay for cable to watch FOX, .

All you need is an antenna and you can pick it up in HD if you get a decent one.
