It takes two to make a PPV. Cotto was a far bigger name than Lemieux ever was or ever will be.

I wonder how many PPV's Cotto-Golovkin would have done last year? In all probability, 500-700k

The slicks will say that if GGG doesn't take the fight because he's not getting enough money its because "Canelo bout dat bidness" despite the fact that 90/10 is a bit unfair.

But if Jacobs doesn't fight GGG because he's not offered enough money its because "Little G be duckin, but 154-168 doe! 164 catchweight doe'" despite the fact that 5 million for either fighter in a fight like this is a bit much.

I don't look forward to the two week war over this bullcrap.

Alvarez vs Lara - 70/30 split
Alvarez vs GGG - 90/10 split

          seems legit

nobody "insisted" on anything numbnuts. There never was a 164 offer. Ever. That was simply a comment made by Loeffler to Dan Rafael. It was not an offer submitted to Roc or Ward.

The only "offer" was the "50-50 but but but next year doe" nonsense Ward put out AFTER he knew GGG had signed for the Lemieux fight and was mando to Cotto-Canelo. Ward knew that by that time the coast was clear........

Or how about when Kid Chocolate was asked about fighting GGG and he said something along the lines that they would have to pay him $10mil for that fight.

Its obvious that either Quillin or Haymon (or both possibly) didn't want the fight with GGG. Even the GGG detractors more or less admit this and agree that in all likelihood Quillin would get pummeled.

FOH.....lil g never sold that many ppv's in his life. even if you believe the fraudulent numbers that k2 came up with(150k) ggg's combined ppv's in his career doesn't even add up to 197k.

                      lil g's first ppv (19k) + lil g's second ppv (150k)= lil g's combined ppv (169k)
