NEW YORK - Terence Crawford clearly doesn’t like Hank Lundy.

According to those close to Crawford, the unbeaten WBO super lightweight champion thinks Lundy crossed decency lines when Lundy talked trash about Crawford’s family members while trying to land a fight against him. Lundy’s brash approach had irritated Crawford to the point Crawford didn’t want to share the same interview room with Lundy on Tuesday before the press conference to officially announce their February 27 fight in The Theater at Madison Square Garden (HBO).

I didn't realize there was actual beef here? Crawford always fights mean, doubt it changes anything about his performance. Maybe it's all for show?

I don't compare fighters often and they definitely have two totally different styles, but the way he fights mean in the ring, while maintaining his balance, and responsiibity on defense reminds me of Pernell Whitaker in his lightweight and 140 days

I wouldn't have thought that but now that you said it I think I see what you're saying. Definitely the composure aspect of their styles. That ultra-composure is probably Crawford's best attribute, you don't see that type of temperament often. Sweet Pea definitely had it.

Lundy is an epic trash talker. He just doesn't do well at backing it up. It's like he's trying to emulate Adrien Broner at times. He basically thinks Crawford is hype and has for months now.

Andre Ward had that kind of composure as a young fighter....More times than not, staying calm is the hardest part of being in the ring and those three were poised off the rip. Staying composed is half the battle

Anybody know what Lundy said? I did find it funny that Crawford folks in his last fight was on tv raising her arms to cheer him on and had a big hole in her shirt.
