How is Ward holding the fight up? The guy just said a day or so ago that he doesn't even have a contract. People act like Ward is the one going out, picking up the opponent, doing the negotiations himself, and drafting up the contract to sign.

At this point it's hard to write off as a coincidence. Ward's ego is way bigger than his actual value. This should be an easy fight to make. And if it isn't, they should have a Plan B lined up within a day.

Yeah cause never in the history of boxing have fighters had a backup plan just in case a fight doesn't come through. They all must follow the unwritten rule of trying to secure one fight at a time.

This fight isn't even a huge threat to Ward...Kovalev, Stevenson are the only fights that are real threats...Fonfara would have been someone decent as an opponent...Pascal is shot..looked horrible after the fight..not a very strong field at 168 or 175 smh...
