    1. While Liam Smith is super talented and is progressing each fight. He's not known in the states. He has never fought on any networks that are broadcasted in the U.S. to my knowledge. So that's a very tough Pay Per View sell.

    2. He fights at Junior Middleweight. But my question is why wouldn't he go for the vacate WBC title that is about to be determined through some tournament?

    3. If he's trying to hold titles in 2 different weight classes that's fine. But doesn't he have to fight at Middleweight in May for a voluntary defense? Isn't that what him and GGG agreed too?

All I know is he better hold his word on fighting GGG in September or fans will riot and Canelo will start to lose his fan base.
Super talented? He's fought nobody, you idiot. Everyone looks "super talented" when they fight nobodies... Amir Khan started fighting nobodies and everyone said, "He can give Floyd trouble", then he got schooled by Algieri..

Crawford is also "super talented" when he fights nobodies..

    Level of competition numb nuts

Idiot is really not needed. Liam Smith is super talented and he is improving his overall skill by fight. He's in a division that is very talented but also very untested with a lot of question marks. So are you going to say J-Roc, The Charlo's, and Andrade are nobodies? Because they don't exactly have great resumes either. They haven't fought top notch opposition either. They all have potential and very talented. Hopefully we get some good fights between these guys and some vets in this division.

Amir Khan has fought a lot of the top guys. Yes he got Knocked Out by Garcia but he still beat some good fighters out there. From a styles point he could have given Money May a problem, but would anyone have realistically thought that he would be Money May? No there just saying he would given him a much better fight than a guy like Andre Berto and others.

Then you bring up Terence Crawford the guy was fighter of the year a few years back. Was considered the best by far in the division and you dismiss him like he's chump change. He's one of the best fighters on the planet and he would have beaten Pac if he would have gotten a shot in my opinion.

Level of Competition. Well I agree a lot of the young talent hasn't been put in against other guys at there level. Hopefully that changes this year JACK.

I remember a few months ago, Cotto receiving massive hate on these boards for following up his Martinez win against the #5 ranked Middleweight at the time. What happened? Standards changed? New year I guess. Lol..... when Cotto won the title, his next fight was being discussed with 3 fighters in mind, Canelo, Andy Lee, and Geale. Lets keep the standards consistent.

He already did, Canelo said I will fight Golovkin at 155 tomorrow.

Or do you mean, the next time they negotiate at the end of 2016, Canelo could stick to his guns and demand 155 still?

Maybe, but I think they would cop too much flak for fk'ing Golovkin around for a year when they really had no intention of fighting him.

I am not a Golovkin fan, fk manufactured fighters..... but it really is rubbish for Canelo to retain the MW title and fk Golovkin around on the weight.

I like Canelo, but he is disrespectful to his opponents, which I really hate.

This 155 crap is nonsense, he should be more professional and have more respect for his opponents.

I like ragging on Golovkin, because he is clearly a manufactured fighter and his team talks even more **** than ***** does..... but Canelo needs to **** or get off the pot..... we all understand that Cotto wasn't a real middleweight, and we all know that Canelo is not a genuine middleweight either, yet..... but he really should make a verbal commitment to 160 NOW or drop the belt.

I got no problem whatsoever with Canelo making Hypekin wait to fight him at 160, no problem at all..... fk Hypekin, the world does not revolve around him, and he is clearly a manufactured fighter..... but if so, Canelo needs to make that commitment NOW, not fk Golovkin around and leave his career in limbo.

Hard enough to get lil'G to fight a live one, without giving him more excuses.

Canelo vs Saunders is a much better fight.

                Just boxing being boxing.

How will fighting a JMW, at 155, prepare Canelo for Golovkin ?

Isn't that why the WBC deferred his mandatory in the first place, to give Canelo, the JMW, time to prepare for Golovkin at 160 ?

It looks to me like Golovkin just got fk'd over.

That is really unprofessional from Canelo.
