Will Canelo's Style Sink Him Against GGG?

Canelo does well defensively and knows how to put combinations together. However, he does fight in spots and GGG seems to pour it on pretty good after the initial feeling out round. I think GGG will not let him rest at all and will be right on top of him. Any thoughts?

He will have to deal with GGG eating his shots, controlling the distance and moving his feet so incredibly well. He will have to keep is composure and stay active, using his hand speed. He will have to hope/pray that he has enough power to actually hurt/slow GGG and make him change his game plan -- all while absorbing huge shots that have turned other men into little bitty girls.

Canelo's style benefits him because he's learned to counter the jab, he uses Floyd's pull counter move and he has good upper body movement.
Where his style won't benefit him is that he takes rounds off which isn't good against Golovkin who likes to put the peddle to the metal.
I think the interesting is if they Reynoso bros. get Canelo to work on inside fighting, investing in the GGG'S body and clinch whenever possible and do all the things to frustrate Golovkin.
If Canelo can frustrate GGG then it'll get real interesting cause Golovkin from what I've seen has shown times where he easily got frustrated over small things despite his patience.

This move -- which he brought out nicely against Cotto -- may well get him practically killed against Golovkin. Canelo moves OK -- but is a far cry from slick.

I don't think it'll sink him honestly. During his fight with Cotto he was moving well and dodging punches just as well. The only thing I see going against him is maybe using up too much energy jumping and flailing out of the way of punches.

Yeah, Canelo drowns. He really has no hope against GGG. These Floyd groupies are going to have to move onto their next hope. What next? Berto beats GGG cos he employs "Mayweather's shoulder roll"?

GGG will hit him in the ribs and fight is over.
