    After almost three decades in the ring, Luis Ramon Campas will finally hang up the gloves for good.

    The fighter known as 'Yori Boy' will fight for the final time as a pro on January 23, when he fights Anthony Bonsante at the Civic Center in Butte, Montana.

    The super middleweight bout will be scheduled for 10 rounds.

      this this and this, lol. i can't believe he's been a pro since '87 and he's still being licensed to fight in the states.


      i was young when campas was a prospect coming out of mexico with all of those knockouts. had to learn about him in reverse. very talented, exctiting fighter. lacked premium speed, but he had a great chin prior to trinidad and a big punch. could have been a top fighter if eh didn't run into felix trinidad at such a young age.

      i was in awe when i saw him take tito's gas. the problem was that he kept getting hit . i don't think he even went down, IIRC.

          Yori boy was billed as the next juio cesar chavez he was a carbon copy of chavez up to the trinidad fight.great chin like chavez but. Lacked speed and had very short arms , his body punching was great .always a big fan of yori boy campas.
