As a Cotto fan, I think he lost and I'm not too interested in a rematch. Canelo is too big and strong for him, I think Cotto is the more skillful fighter but he just can't fight that effectively on the back foot for more than a few rounds.

Absolutely no idea who he should fight next, but it shouldn't be Canelo

Cotto didn't come remotely close to winning anything.

... Canelo may fight Cotto or even JMM if he wants to, but first he must vacate.

Still bummed that Cotto lost. Thought he would get more done, but I just can't see him getting the W. Can't hurt him and he was afraid to sit down on any of his shots, only occasionally. Cotto should fight someone at jmw or go down and fight a welter.

Cotto is a great fighter, doe -- but he (had) has no business at 160.

I don't see a need for a rematch. Canelo won clearly IMO and would do so in the rematch.

I guess it would likely do around 750k so it may happen.

Can't ODH just make the GGG fight already.

Uh oh, is this their plan? A rematch that nobody is even asking for? If so it'll be another fight that I won't be paying for along with Pac/Bradley III

I wouldn't pay to see that rematch, I know what that fight looks like.

Cotto is too small, he can't beat Canelo. The scorecards were bogus but it was only an issue because Cotto deserved more credit for how well he fared trudging through an uphill battle.

I think Canelo beats Cotto 19 out of 20 times after what I saw. Younger, bigger, stronger, faster, sharper... No rematch necessary, it's purely a money move for all parties involved this time.
