    no
i consider him a very physical fighter
    he just cant help it
    the elbows
products of some of his wild hooks
    shoulders
products of comin forward and not wanting to lose ground
    wrestlin
    same as shoulders

the only thing some would say
    was the lowblows on tszyu
    but he deserved it
    and plus
most guys tht like to throw to the body
    end up hitten low
    not cuz of them
but cuz the other fighter moves
or they get hit while throwen to the body so their hit goes off course

i've seen quite a few hatton fights - and he doesn't seem to be an extremely dirty fighter, he is very physical no doubt. in the case of the tszyu/hatton fight, hatton was very dirty and showed no sense of sportsmanship whereas kostya, if he hit a fighter low, would always touch gloves and on some occassions had even verbally apologized if the ref that he had done something a bit illegal. hatton, imo, should've been deducted a point for a blatant low blow. all of tszyu's punches at least hit hatton's belt and were unintentional.

hatton, overall, can be dirty, especially in times where he is in trouble. he is no harry greb, however.

I wouldn't call him dirty, in the most fights ive seen he's just a very physically fighter who puts extreme pressure on his opponents till they crack.
He was a dirty bastard in Tyszu fight though, shame because most people who haven't really seen him fight judge him upon that.

I voted no,because I can't bring myself to say that he is
actually dirty.Although I will say that he is borderline.
It is going to be interesting to see if he can get away
with those tactics in the states like he does in England.

Hatton may be a little dirty and/or rough, but he comes to ****ing fight every time and I like that about him. Just like Nard before him, he comes to beat your ass and if he has to elbow you or hit you low once or whathaveyou he'll do it.

I don't mind it, as long as it's not pre-meditated.

I do believe Hatton is dirty, and he better change that **** quick.

It is fairly safe to agree that Hatton's popularity in America is not on par with the heights he has reached in England. He is fighting Luis Collazo in Boston, a fighter who he may need to employ some rough house tactics to slow down. Collazo's hand and foot speed could dominate Hatton all night, so Hatton is gonna hit him on the hip, hit him in the nuts, and anything else he can to slow him down.

The difference in this fight is that this is not in the MEN Arena, its in Massachusetts, a state with a large hispanic community. If Hatton gets out of control, they will not hesitate to penalize him.

Given that I think Hatton will lose the first 4 rounds, point deductions could be very costly to "The Hitman".
