The International Boxing Federation has revealed that a deal was struck for IBF welterweight champion Kell Brook (35-0, 24KOs) to make a mandatory defense of his title against Canadian contender Kevin Bizier (25-2, 17KOs). A March date is expected.

This fight does nothing for Brook.....

I get that a new champ wants to milk a title defense or 2, but brook with his recent string of opponents has really destroyed any momentum he had coming off the huge porter win..

At the very least, brook should have fought a "name" guy like devon alexander..

Bizer does nothing for brook, only downside... If brook wins- who cares.. and if he struggles people will call him a bum
