No, I wanted to see Golovkin-Ward, I thought Golovkin should have moved up to fight him. But at the same time, I doubt Ward was serious about fighting him, I think he was just using Golovkin's name to keep himself relevant, which to be fair, worked.

Floyd was offered the Golovkin bout multiple times at 154lbs the weight at which Floyd held two belts. Floms like to pretend Floyd would have had to gone to 160 but everyone knows that isn't true.

Very true. GG would have moved up had Ward didn't dilly dally. There were lots of times when team GG was desperate looking for fights. Who wants to deal with a guy like Ward who can't make up his mind? Fact that his offer came late and wants the fight to take place a year later.

Good on Sanchez for acknowledging that Ward is one of the best fighters in the world. No time for name calling and little sissy games. He knows Ward is the real deal, and he's taking his job seriously. I hope the deal gets made, because Sullivan will be a good comeback for Ward, and a guage of where he's at after all the inactivity.
