by David P. Greisman - The two fights topping this coming Saturday’s boxing card on Showtime have been marketed as "a history-making night." But let’s not mistake any historical significance as meaning the two fights - the main event of Deontay Wilder vs. Artur Szpilka and its preceding co-feature of Vyacheslav Glazkov vs. Charles Martin - are incredibly historical or significant.

Post-Wlad is just going to be total domination by Tyson Fury. All these HW's have a McCall/Rahman chance of beating Fury, a punchers chance nothing more nothing less. They're not as skilled in any department apart from "Power" it will take a 6 ft 10 cloned version of Tyson to beat his 6 ft 9 current self.

I think Ortiz is more skilled than Fury, but Furys height, speed and akward style may be a problem for everybody.

I do think though, that Ortiz is the best of them all, he reminds me a bit of Larry Holmes, and it's really a shame he's already 36!! His technical skills and power are impressive. He will be ducked by alot of the other guys for sure.

Wlad threw the Fury fight and made $50 million-bets

Wlad threw the Fury fight and most in boxing know this was a farce fight setting up a bigger rematch. Side bets on the Fury win earned Wlad and the Ukraine many many millions. Boxing is a crooked sport and always has been crooked for decades. So easy for a fight to be thrown especially when the better fighter throws the fight. All that has to happen is for a fighter to agree to lose. Then place bets in casinos all over the world on the thrown fight. Wlad collected a fortune. Smart man that Wlad. Look at that soft OAF Fury without laughing.

A fat yank still butthurt because Fury cost him a load of cash!

Don't worry, Fury will deal with your great hope Wilder after he's handled Wladimir for a second time.

Wlad was smart and took advantage of the odds. Boxing is the easiest sport to fix and has been for years. Fixed fights are so common in boxing the casinos and the Books just go along with it and nothing is ever done or proven anyway. Wlad collected a King's ransom in Germany by using the lopsided odds and collecting millions. Look at Fluff Fury without bursting into laughter? Fluff Fury may be the softest thing ever in a ring that's why Wlad took the odds and made them work for him. Fury is a soft creme filled lopsided bowling pin joke. Wilder was avoided by Wlad with the thrown fight. Smart commie move in the free world taking advantage of democracy and it's apparent weaknesses.

Wilder is a joke like Fluff Fury is a soft joke

Stiverne was an average fighter and all the rest of Wilder's opponents have been average now the SZP comes along un-ranked and looking like a lunatic is average. WTF? How long can Wilder go being protected? Boxing is a joke. Wlad throws a fight and makes $50 million off the side bets. Fluff Fury the soft Oaf creme filled is a called champ? WTF are Boxing fans that fricking ****** to believe this crap shoved down their throats? Bearcat reasons with you morons and dimwits and Wicks types get a grip on it. Boxing is fixed and crooked. has been for decades.

These poor souls who are hoping it's all a fluke or bad dream are going to be depressed over the coming years.

Fury is the new Floyd, just wait: every upcoming opponent, we will read the same thing, how his challenger is so much better and will expose him and when Fury keeps winning the excuses will pile up, people want to see him lose so badly.

When he's finished with Wilder/Haye, Ortiz and who ever else they'll all turn into bums according to NSB.

To the poster calling Fury an Oaf do you understand ring generalship? Fury is the most 'slick' Heavyweight in the world.
