I Remember when this initially happened, I was heart broken by the story. cant believe it was already 3 months ago, I'm shamed to admit it slipped from my mind. Good to see Tito visiting Prichard in the hospital, I will pray for Prichard tonight.

Let's hope that Tito's visit brought some glimmer of hope into Prichard's future.
The worst thing about this whole situation is that it was entirely preventable. Professional boxers should not have to worry that the ref may not be looking after their health and best interests.

Tito Trinidad is and ALWAYS has been a class act. There's a reason fans all over LOVE this guy! (Miguel Cotto should take notes...) On behalf of my family, I would like to wish Pritchard Colón a "world" of health and a full recovery. Soooo sad that something like this has to happen to anyone but, it is what it is... the price to pay for fame and riches is not cheap.

Great post, hoping Colon is able to recover and regain some portion of his life.

It made me sad to read that he tried to move his head when he heard Tito's voice and tried to talk to him.

Yet at the same time maybe that gives some hope that he can recover eventually.

Shame to hear that Colon is still in that sort of shape, I remember that fight it was certainly rough and he took a couple big rabbit punches but it just never seemed that bad. Stepping through those ropes you just never know if something terrible will happen.

Props to Tito for taking the time out to go and do that though, certainly a classy move.

**** is crazy how you can go from a bright star, an up and coming prospect, to bed ridden and unable to speak. This sport is brutal, and its consequences are real.
