worse than floyd's 2 retirements when welter was hot and deep.
When he retired the only person anyone wanted to see him fight was Chad Dawson

Froch, Ward etc were not world level fighters when he retired, let alone when he left 168

He was busy and active and knew all kinds of tricks in the ring. One of the best. I also didn't know Michael J. Fox was such a boxing fan.
thy should take into account that hitting with the inside of the glove(or slapping) is illegal in boxing...but they never do

great fighter....the white sugar ray leonard minus the power and resume ofcourse but very skilled fighter nonetheless..ward vs him would've been very very interesting, he would've outboxed froch tho and everyone else in the super 6 exept ward, in which is a 50/50 fight IMO

..and daggum is still one of my fav posters too,

But don't the majority of those slapping punches land on opponents' gloves? It's not like palm-striking.

                Great call. Haha.

against hopkins yes but unfortunately some figthers were caught and knocked out cold by those massive slaps.

I saw it a couple weeks ago, very good doc. Joe had some savage like knockouts in the amateurs. Too bad his hands crapped out on him because he had real power in both.
