The official world championship challenger to the WBO super featherweight, Miguel "Scorpion" Berchelt, is ready to begin training camp for his next fight.

At the moment there is no opponent, but there is a purse bid in the coming days for a mandatory fight between Berchelt and current WBO champion Roman 'Rocky" Martinez of Puerto Rico. There are ongoing discussions to make a trilogy fight between Martinez and Orlando Salido for early March, but time is running out and the WBO is applying pressure on everyone involved.
