LMAO at the JC Penny comment
Barrera is a young man in a hurry, he wants his paperwork.
Fair enough too.
Whereas Ward is more analytical and calculating, which is also fair enough.
Patience Sullivan, good things come to those who wait.Comment

Jesus, Ward is really trying to look as bad as he can. This guy wants to be seen as the best, P4P King, but he is literally not fighting. Pay this guy a decent wage, and fight.
If he doesn't get this fight and opts for an Unranked fighter from SMW, it's clear that he has lost something.
And his style waś predicated on crossing up the other fighter with dirty tricks, clinching, and causing concern by winging his head around. Even against Smith, when Ward got tagged, he'd bend over and come forward with his head low, knowing it causes the fighters concern.
Holding opponents arms and crap, wtf. And a weak ass chopping right hand.
It's starting to become clear to me Ward has limitations that he isn't sure he can overcome.Comment

Maybe I was unfair, but guarantees should be placed more so on what a fighter can deliver financially than who they fight. Lets take Golovkin for instance. he can sell out while fighting a tamato can, should he get paid less if it is one and he still brings the stakeholders millions? I don't think so. I'm just saying competition shouldn't be the primary determinant of a fighter's purse, revenue generated should.Comment
