I seriously doubt it, never heard anything about Canelo wanting to fight Saunders. Only names that have been mentioned are Rosado and Monroe. Saunders is awkward and i dont think Canelo would be able to look good against him, its a risky fight.

Saunders took part in the worst and most boring MW championship fight in the last 10 years, he is just lucky to have won that belt since Lee couldnt pull the trigger and was even worse that night.

Well Frank Warren wrote this article himself, he would not lie about such a thing. Now if this was written by Bob Arum then i'd probably agree with you.

when did that happen? you talking about the 50-50 offer in late 2016? yea he should have taken the guy in a different weight division and less money instead of canelo. that's smart. ggg tried to fight ward a couple years ago and ward said no so yea ggg doesn't have to make dumb career decisions and take bad deals just to please someone who is going to hate him anyway. ggg would have taken the fight if he was less popular(like he was a couple years ago) but ward was simply too late. now he doesn't have to settle for any fight and has bigger fights lined up in his own division. ward missed his chance. deal with it.

Are we to believe Warren has never has never told a lie in his career? For that matter the Daily Star is such a sleazy rag that I wouldn't put it past them to change / add to an article and then Warren could say he was mis-quoted.

That is pretty shocking news. No wonder Saunders is saying "show me the money" to K2

Exposure fighting Canelo is just bigger. Would Canelo fight him at 160 ? How much could Saunders drain down to? Would he prefer fight Canelo at 156/7 for more money or Golovkin at 160 for slightly less money.
