The point is this..... Golovkin is trying to become a PPV star.

Well, he needed to get his ticket stamped by Ward, there is nobody else.

And if he really was desperate to force the issue and prove that he is the best then he would have negotiated with Canelo on the weight, because he has stated many times that he can.

They are happy collecting 1.5mil paydays by fighting guys they KNOW they can beat..... and now they want to criticize Saunders for doing the exact same thing.

In fact Rule 3B Return Bout states: No contract for a championship contest shall contain any clause or provision, whatsoever, guaranteeing or in any way assuring or promising either contestant a return championship contest where such clause or provision interferes with the mandatory defense of the title.”

That was part of the IBF's statement.

      Everyone involved knew the rules.

      Maybe you didn't notice, but.....

      1) their " rules " differ from everyone else's

      2) they are selective about when to enforce their " rules ".

OK, so let me get this straight..... Glazkov is the best heavyweight on the planet, because the IBF say so..... gotcha ^^

I kinda doubt that my friend

Stripping Fury was absurd, and simply cannot be justified.

Why don't you guys stop reading ridiculous rule-books and use some common-sense.

FACT: Fury beat " the man ", and he could be the best HW on the planet.

FACT: Glazkov did not, and is not..... so stop being silly

          Yes...

As I noticed, IBF doesn't like Brits and *****s even less.

Why don't they just strip him like they did Fury. meanwhile Wilder never has to fight a mandatory for the WBC. Hypocrisy at its best

GGG wasted too much time , GGG vs Johnson should be in Feb so he can have time to go after both the WBC & WBO champion later..

                Exactly !!

And the WBC did not mandate Klitschko either, despite him being the best heavyweight on the planet for the last decade..... and yet they sure rolled out the red carpet for Golovkin.

HBO know who to wine and dine in order to get things done.

Johnson appears to have more balls than Saunders. So I prefer this fight.

If he'd miraculously possess the sturdiness to withstand GGG's power at fight night, then I think he could pull off a surprising victory. It's all about confidence and mental strength sometimes. This guy is not afraid to trade, and doesn't clinch even when pressed in close quarters.

That point is so CLEARLY obvious.

So, it is fkn disgraceful the way ignorant casual fans decide to support the various asshat sanctioning bodies...... when it suits them, of course.

But tomorrow, when that very same asshat sanctioning body makes a decision that they don't agree with, that particular organisation will suddenly become corrupt and unworthy.....

The bottom line is this, when the IBF stripped Fury and announced that Glaskov was the best heavyweight on the planet, they proved that they are second-rate.

Nobody but the IBF, believes that Glazkov is the best HW on the planet.

The IBF, are a second-rate organisation, confirmed by their own ruling.

Just like the rest of them.
